Abstract: Abstract: The study examined the relationship between driving styles and mental health among motor vehicle drivers in Ecuador in 2025, with the aim of identifying the influence of psychological, emotional, and behavioral factors on driving practices and road safety. The study employed a quantitative approach using a non-experimental, cross-sectional, and correlational design. The sample consisted of 30 motorists, who were administered the Ad Hoc Sociodemographic Questionnaire, the Multidimensional Driving Style Inventory (MDSI), the Goldberg General Health Questionnaire (GHQ-28), and the Alcohol Use Disorders Identification Test (AUDIT). The results showed a predominance of adaptive driving styles, particularly the cautious style, while maladaptive styles scored lower. Regarding mental health, social dysfunction, somatic symptoms, and anxiety-insomnia had the highest scores, in contrast to reduced levels of depression. With regard to alcohol consumption, the pattern of abstinence or low risk predominated. The studies allow for the identification of psychological and behavioral characteristics associated with the driving behavior of the motorized drivers evaluated.
