Necesidades de formación de los docentes de bachillerato técnico. Estudio realizado en el Instituto Superior Tecnológico Daniel Álvarez Burneo , de la provincia de Loja, de la ciudad de Loja, periodo 2012-2013

Abstract

To diagnose, assess and analyze the training needs of teachers of technical high school of "Daniel Álvarez Burneo" Technological Institute of Loja, period 2012-2013, aroused this research topic in order to design a course of training to improve the current situation of the institution, for the felt training needs of their teachers. This study is exploratory and cross-sectional. It used analytical methods such as qualitative and a quantitative tool, which is a questionnaire administered to 52 teachers of technical high school of that school. The trend of the results show little percentage change in the main training needs identified and are of interest of teachers surveyed, the main: training in his specialty, on issues related to responsible materials, methods and teaching resources, learning assessment and pedagogy. Finally, it is suggested the training course on “Critical Pedagogy” focused on upgrading skills and develops critical thinking skills on teachers, so they can improve the quality of education of their students.
