Description: Native Language Interference Research in “La Salle” High School attempted to identify Spanish interference level as source of errors in the written material of the sixth grade students. In order to accomplish it, interference errors were analyzed under the perspective of a theoretical frame looking for the instances where Spanish Structures and lexicon take the place of English ones. It also allowed deducing the causes of those errors to instruct later the teachers about the students’ situation and find techniques and activities leading to reduce Spanish interference in the students’ written material.
