Description: Azogues, a big City of the Province of Cañar in Ecuador, is the place where this important project has been carried out. The materials which were used for collecting anglicisms were six Ecuadorian magazines with cultural, scholarly and general contents which have a high ranking of audience. Within the Scientific Method, a bibliographic method was used for developing the theoretical frame that proceeds to the present investigation. Furthermore, an analytical and descriptive methodology was used along the whole development of this research in order to do the qualitative and quantitative analysis, the interpretation and discussion of the data that has been gathered through the field research.
