Abstract

The research was aimed to develop a model of social balance for Basic Education School Miguel Riofrio N°- 1 in the city of Loja, during the school year 2014-2015, which aims to provide the institution with an instrument allows you to plan, evaluate and visualize their social performance. The research was conducted with 45 teachers and 153 children (as), 145 parents and directors of the institution. The research is exploratory and descriptive, as it facilitated explain and characterize the reality of social responsibility in which the educational process takes place, so that made it possible to know the problem of study as presented in reality. The methods used were'to inductive-deductive data analysis, statistical method was feasible to organize the information reached, hermeneutical method allowed the collection and interpretation of literature in developing the theoretical framework. The field research techniques that were used in this research for the collection and analysis of information were: documentary collection, the survey, interview and observation KEYWORDS: multidisciplinary approaches to the development of theory and transformative action in an educational institution.
