Abstract

Actually we need to form human beings with critical thinking - purposeful to the problems facing society, able to reason, extrapolate and make value judgments; then the question of How to achieve this goal comes? , but the answer is objective: through reading and understanding of texts, since they are important aspects for humans develop their knowledge. This document includes three chapters: The first one related to the theoretical framework of this research, as is the definition of narratological analysis; the elements of the narrative, discursive narrative techniques, definitions of intertextuality and literary figures. In the second and the third chapters will begin with a thorough analysis of the work contemplated Banana Split into five stories, it does it will unravel even the smallest detail of his writing. “Se busca novia para solitario George”, the same analysis applies and complement the narrative elements and characteristics. It ends with a bibliography of the writer and annexes.
