Plan de gestión integral de residuos sólidos de la parroquia Ahuano del cantón Tena

Abstract

This Plan of Solid Waste Management, seeks to sensitize the public on the use of measures such as recycling to take advantage of more waste. In this research, an assessment of the current situation of the management of RS, to better understand the scenario and propose alternatives solution according to the reality of the area was conducted. The GPC of the parish is Ahuano: 0.40 kg / capita / day, generating 2.39 tons of waste per day, an estimated 872.35 tons per year. They consist of: Organic 58.55%, 12.96% plastics, paper and cardboard 4.64%, 3.85% metals, glass 2,14%, 1,38 rubber, sanitary 13,45%, other 3 03%; having a density of: 317.97 kg / m3; of hospital waste an average of 1.43 kg per day, approximately 0.52 ton per year is generated. It is important to the implementation of the proposed PGIRS, in which several programs for proper management of solid waste arises and getting reduce environmental impacts caused by their mismanagement.
