Abstract

Abstract:This investigation is about the problem of the Ecuadorian's teaching, also of the teacher of high school and their training needs. The Ministry of Education proposes quality standards of performance management, one of them is achieving the pedagogical leadership for teacher. With this investigation it aims to know the training needs of high school teachers of the Ecuadorian educational institutions, for the design of training strategies. Participants are six high school teachers from "Unidad Educativa Yamaram Tsawaa", extension Metsankim of the "Centro Shuar Metsankim", Río Blanco parish, Morona canton, Morona Santiago province, in the 2012-2013 academic year. The data collection instrument used in this investigation is the training needs questionnaire prepared by the "Universidad Técnica Particular de Loja". The main results obtained mentions that investigated teachers require training in Educational Pedagogy. 100% of high school teachers needs to professionalize to a third study level with the blended format to work and stud.
