Abstract: IIn this study the nutrient composition of fruits of different species of dry forests was estimated and identify the fruits that can meet the nutritional needs of animals through proximal analysis to food; examining their chemical properties or similar nutrients, in three studies. protein, fat and ash, the fruits studied in this paper was made with different species taken from the ecological reserves of the province of Loja and El Oro The results show that variable protein represented the highest value on species both beefy guy like dry, obtaining a kind of dry type (Piptadenia flava) with a rate of 6,689 + 0.188 the highest value in this analysis and some kind of fleshy type (Malpighia emarginata) with a percentage of 2,607 + 1,654 the lower value. Studies of ash had a second representative, equal value in a variety of dry type, leaving variable with very little fat percentage and little importance in what has to do with the nutritional needs of animals
