Abstract

The subject matter in this document is "Teachers and students' perceptions of teaching in small classes Inglés in Ecuador". This research aims to determine what are the advantages of teaching and study English in small classes ?, What strategies and resources benefit English teaching in small classes ?, How the student feels to study English in small classes? and if there are some limitations when English is taught in small classes. This research was conducted in Quito, Ecuador, with the cooperation of a school and two private schools. The process began by conducting surveys five forty-six teachers and students of basic and high school. The questionnaire responses were tabulated; the quantitative method was used for this purpose; the opinions of teachers and students were compared with expert research information and data collected in observation sheet. The results show that in classes with twenty or fewer students, more frequent interaction between student and teacher.
