Relación entre el uso problemático de las TIC, el consumo de sustancias y su impacto en la salud mental en estudiantes de primero y segundo de bachillerato de la Zona 8, Distritos 6 y 9 y Circuitos C01-02-03

Abstract

The research "Relationship between problematic use of ICT, substance use and its impact on the mental health of first and second year students in Zone 8 baccalaureate, Districts 6 and 9 and Circuits C01-02-03". It aimed to analyze the distribution of substance use, the use of ICTs and mental health indicators. The type of research was exploratory descriptive and transversal. The sample was obtained through random-accidental sampling. Students of first and second year of baccalaureate of three educational centers, fiscal, fiscomisional and particular were chosen. Battery of psychological instruments: a questionnaire for the use of ICT, CERM, CERI, IGD-20, Substance Consumption, Psychological Characteristics and Social Support. Conclusions: students of the private educational institution have greater access to the computer and video games, while those of the prosecutor have greater access to the cell phone. Private college students consume alcohol at a higher rate than the fiscomisional and fiscal ones. Researchers from all three schools have emotional support.
