Abstract

The development of this research work is focused on the Environmental Interpretation of the Senderos Forest Reserve (Dry Tropical Forest) Forest Reserve Zone in the city of Guayaquil with a total area of ​​130 Hectares. For this purpose, information was collected from primary sources such as geo referencing of the area and important geographic points for the study, surveys of administrators and users of the protected area, characterization of the zone and users, verification of attractions and their Implications for the sustainable management of the Protected Area. The research determined that there is not enough signage in the total area of ​​the Reserve, lack of scientific information with its translation into an easily interpreted language and certain technological tools that could be implemented as part of the environmental interpretation, little physical security For cyclists in certain stretches of the cycle path by the structure of the ground, its inclination and the absence of a buffer zone in case of derailment, implementation of more garbage collectors on the bike path.
