Abstract: N/D
Description: Resumen: This undergraduate thesis examines the semantic adaptation of English loanwords and phrases incorporated into the Spanish language and their cultural influence on teenagers. The study focuses on fourth-year students at Bernardo Valdivieso and Santa Mariana de Jesús schools in Loja. It analyzes how English borrowings affect vocabulary, communication, and language use, concluding that cultural exposure and globalization significantly influence students linguistic preferences and contribute to the continuous evolution of contemporary Spanish.
