Beschreibung: Resumen:This research was about English language students and their motivation to learn the language. Toe purpose of this study was to learn about students' perceptions in relation to their motivation to learn English inside the classroom. The general approach of this study was qualitative and quantitative. Toe principal sources of data collection were students' questionnaires and observation sheet. Toe field research took place in the city of Latacunga-Ecuador. Toe Sample consisted of 20 students from ninth and tenth years of Basic Education and all senior high school; in addition, it was monitored the existing needs and limitations through a survey and direct observation directed to teachers and students which permitted to achieve reliable outcomes From the results obtained, it was established that the teachers' attitude is the foundation of the class development; it means that teachers attitude has an important role in the students' learning process due to the fact that there is an implicit relation between teachers and students that helps to motivate students in the educative process.
