Abstract

Abstract: Education has evolved over time, it not only provides knowledge but also enriches culture.Thepresent research work called Principles of Social Constructivismin the Institutional Pedagogical Proposal of the PCE Bucay EducationalUnit, reveals the relevance of the implementation of the principles of constructivism in the teaching-learning process, therefore, it has been the study of terms such as education, school, didactics, pedagogy, curriculum and learning is essential, thus achieving greater clarity of the purpose of the pedagogical proposal in the educational institution. For the present researchwork, a qualitative analysisdesign, a contentanalysis method, a documentary review techniquetogether with a relational analysis matrixare implemented, all based on the pedagogical proposal of the educational institution an the information collected throughout the investigative process exposed in the theoretical framework. In conclusion, the educational institution complies with four of the five principlesof constructivism mentioned by Claudia Ordoñez for better learning, leaving behind the traditional model and proposing activities that are focused on how the student learns.
