Principios del constructivismo social en la propuesta pedagógica institucional de la Escuela de Educación Básica Carcelén de la ciudad de Quito

Abstract

Abstract: Education is one of the fundamental pillars of development, progress and advancement of any society. In this sense, educational institutions, with their planners and teachers, have the task of generating meaningful learning in their students. Therefore, the present work shows the principles of social constructivism of the Institutional Pedagogical Proposal of the Educational Unit "La Inmaculada" of the city of Latacunga and the general objective is to explain the contribution of Constructivism to student learning as a foundation of the Institutional Pedagogical Proposal. Its approach is inductive and the method used is qualitative; it used the archival research strategy, from an analysis and review of constructivist principles of the pedagogical proposal, literature review of contributions of Ordoñez (2006) and other authors, which guided to make the relationship matrix, an instrument to present the results. After its analysis, it was concluded that social constructivism is present in the IPP. Finally, the CP is a document that includes philosophical, theoretical and epistemological aspects based on the LOEI.
