Systematization of pedagogical experiences in the EFL teaching training program

Abstract

Abstract: The main purpose of this research study entitled Systematization of pedagogical experiences in the EFL teaching training program, is to exchange knowledge and information acquired through experiences as pre-service teachers in order to understand and reflect on my own teaching practices, evaluate their process, reinforce, strengthen, and consolidate different competences, and skills, aiming at allowing future teachers to become good professional in the EFL educational context. To do so, it was necessary to systematize some observation and teaching practices, this systematization of experiences consisted on watching 20 videos about English lessons from elementary and high school, describing and analyzing all those lessons in four different aspects such as planning, linguistic aspects, learning management, and methodology considering positive and negative points that are worthy to be discussed. Finally, at the end of this research study, several conclusions and recommendations were written based on the main findings in the description and reflection section aiming at pointing out strengths and weaknesses regarding the way English teachers carry out classes in EFL classrooms in Loja city.
