Abstract:	Abstract: n the present study, the optimal chromatographic conditions were found for the fractionation of mangiferin from the mango skin extract obtained by ultrasound-assisted maceration. Food grade solvents were used for the fractionation and mangiferin was obtained with a degree of purity of 90%, in addition the inhibitory activity of the DPPH radical of the extract and mangiferin was compared, obtaining that the mango skin extract has better antioxidant activity than the extract. fractionated mangiferi.
Description:	Resumen: En el presente estudio se encontró las condiciones cromatográficas óptimas para el fraccionamiento de mangiferina a partir del extracto de piel de mango que se obtuvo mediante maceración asistida por ultrasonidos. Se utilizó solventes de grado alimenticio para el fraccionamiento y se obtuvo mangiferina con un grado de pureza del 90%, además se comparó la actividad inhibitoria del radical DPPH del extracto y mangiferina, obteniéndose que el extracto de piel de mango tiene mejor actividad antioxidante que la mangiferina fraccionada.
