| dc.description | Resumen: La presente investigación tiene como objetivo analizar el impacto de Educaplay como recurso tecnológico en el aprendizaje de vocabulario de los estudiantes de inglés como lengua extranjera. Este estudio se llevó a cabo en un colegio público de la ciudad de Saraguro, donde participaron un total de 40 estudiantes de décimo año de Educación Básica. Ellos fueron divididos en dos grupos, uno de ellos asistió a clases tradicionales, mientras que el otro grupo recibió clases utilizando la plataforma Educaplay. Para lograr el propósito de este estudio, se implementó el método cuantitativo. La información se recopiló a través de un pre-test, un post-test, una entrevista y una encuesta de percepción de los estudiantes, y los resultados se plasmaron en tablas. Los hallazgos demostraron que Educaplay facilitó la adquisición de vocabulario de los estudiantes ya que esta plataforma permitió a los participantes tener acceso a una gran variedad de recursos que les ayudaron a aprender vocabulario de una mejor manera. Además, los alumnos mencionaron que les gustaría seguir usando Educaplay ya que esta herramienta les permite adquirir vocabulario divirtiéndose mientras aprenden. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | Abstract: The present research aims to analyze the impact of Educaplay as a technological resource on EFL students vocabulary learning. This study was carried out in a public high school in the city of Saraguro. The participants involved a total of 40 EFL students from the tenth year of high school that was dividedinto two groups, one of them attended traditional classes while the other group received classes using the platform Educaplay. To achieve the purpose of this study, the quantitative method was implemented. The information was collected through a pre-test,a post-test, an interview, and a student perception survey; the results were displayed in tables. Findings demonstrated that Educaplay facilitated the students vocabulary acquisition since this platform allowed the participants to have access to a great variety of resources that helped them learn vocabulary in a better manner. Additionally, learners mentioned that they would like to continue using Educaplay since this tool allowed learners to acquire vocabulary by having fun while learning. | es_ES |
