Abstract

Abstract: The degree work called: Principles of constructivism in the pedagogical proposal of the Juan Pío Montufar Basic Education school period 2021-2026, has as its general objective: Explain the contribution of social constructivism to student learning as the foundation of the institutional pedagogical proposal. The methods applied in their order were: inductive-deductive, they provided a significant analysis to structure the scheme of relevant contents, and analytical-synthetic, used to analyze the theories investigated, establishing the conclusionsand recommendations, the applied technique was direct observation through a qualitative approach that explains the criteria and findings found during the documentary analysis of the project. As an instrument of analysis,is citedthe matrix that facilitated contrasting the principles of constructivism of the author Ordoñez (2006), with those foundin the Educational Institution. In addition, an explanatory and descriptive analysis regarding the principles of constructivism and PPI is carried out. As a general conclusion, it is established that the educational institution applies four of the five principles of constructivism, favoring compliance with the constructivist theory in the student body.
