Mediación de la comprensión lectora en la etapa juvenil como estrategia pedagógica

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this literary essay, on the Mediation of reading comprehension in the youth stage as a pedagogical strategy, was to analyze and argue the role that teachers play as mediators in the teaching-learning process of the reading habits of children and young people. An analytical-critical study from a qualitative approach was proposed as a methodology. Considering mediation as a methodological strategy towards achieving the true reading habit, through pleasure, aesthetic taste, until reaching the appropriation of reality and fantasy that exists in books. It is verified that the young people of the 21st century read a lot, it only takes a bridge between the book and the reader, to select topics appropriate to their age and their liking, until they enter the magical world of knowledge with assertiveness and their own foundations. A mediator develops the capacities of inference, deduce and expose the critical evaluative approach of it. Whoever reads becomes a more human being, reading mediators will always be the bridge between the book and the reader.
