Preferencias académicas de los estudiantes de la carrera de Derecho y su vinculación con los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible (ODS) a través del estudio de sentencias

Abstract

Abstract:This research work is based on the legal analysis carried out to the sentence of the Constitutional Court of Ecuador signed No. 0838-12-EP/194 on the violation of the right to due process at the time of being judged by a competent judge, in accordance with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), objective No. 16, which focuses on achieving the peace, justice and strong institutions; guaranteeing public access to information, protecting the fundamental freedoms of citizens, thus providing quality justice. In addition, focuses on providing a general context of the SDGs, specifically number 16, and the importance it has for the sustainable development of people. Similarly, if take advantage of this investigative work to know the perceptions that the student has of the Law career about his academic preferences and projections as a future Lawyer. Finally, these three aspects are combined to show if Ecuador is taking compliance or not with Sustainable Development Goal number 16, that is, the fact of having with strong justice institutions.
