Abstract

Abstract: The main objective of this research is to diagnose the perception of the process of inclusive education in a basic general education center of a public institution of the canton of El Carmen, from the perspective of parents and teachers. The design of research is non-experimental, transversal, exploratory, contextual, quantitative and descriptive. Through the data collection process where the relevant permits at the educational institution, 40 people were surveyed, including 20 teachers and 20 parents of basic general education through a questionnaire sociodemographic and inclusion index (Ecuadorian adaptation). It is concluded that the Perception of teachers about educational inclusion within the institution is favorable, However, parents have a very different point of view, who gave know that the institution is not entirely inclusive. However, there is a point in agreed, and they mention agreeing that shadow teachers are needed and more educational resources that allow promoting educational inclusion.
