Systematization of Pedagogical Experiences in the EFL Teaching Training Program

Abstract

Abstract: The present work, entitled Systematization of Pedagogical Experiences in the English as a Foreign Language Teacher Training Program, had The objective is to analyze and reflect on pre-professional practices carried out by the author of this project as an observer and as a teacher of English. In total, six classes were analyzed as an observer and six classes as a teacher. They were carried out in a school and an institute in the city of Zamora. Systematization was the qualitative method used in this project. It focused on aspects such as planning, linguistic aspects, learning management and methodology. As an observer, the researcher interacted with EFL teachers and students. Strategies for driving class and how to function as a teacher involved the application of methodological, pedagogical and academic knowledge acquired in the university, which work effectively in conjunction with information collected in the observed classes. Consequently, the researcher was able teach appropriately and achieve the objectives proposed in each class. The results revealed that the reflections on the practice were extremely beneficial for the author to get involved in the field of foreign language teaching.
