Competencias digitales y su relación con la innovación docente en la Escuela de Educación Básica 1 de marzo del cantón Tiwintza, provincia de Morona Santiago, período 2023 - 2024

Abstract

Abstract: The development of digital skills in teacher training is essential, therefore, the objective of this research is to analyze the level of knowledge of digital skills and innovation of the school "Primero de Marzo" of the Tiwintza canton, for which, the design was applied under the positivist philosophy, follows a deductive approach and a quantitative methodological route, the study is of transversal axis and the type of sampling is non-probabilistic and voluntary. A questionnaire was used to collect the information, which was carried out to 6 teachers at that school, the same was divided into 5 components: information and data literacy, communication and collaboration, digital content creation, security and problem solving. The results showed that they are highly proficient, although there is a deficit in the creation of digital content. In short, a teacher must remain in constant training due to technological progress, therefore, this study is ready for any future research as it shows the progress and shortcomings of teachers in digital skills.
