Prevalencia de la salud mental, capital psicológico y satisfacción laboral en docentes ecuatorianos en el Sector Noroeste de la ciudad de Cuenca de la provincia del Azuay, durante el año 2023

Abstract

Abstract: This research work aims to determine the prevalence of health mental, psychological capital and job satisfaction in Ecuadorian teachers, in the sector Northwest of the city of Cuenca in the province of Azuay, during the year 2023, it was taken the sample of 44 teachers and through an online survey a questionnaire was applied Sociodemographic and Labor, the DASS-21, Psychological Capital PCQ-24 and Scale of work satisfaction. The research is quantitative, non-experimental, transversal and descriptive. The results indicated that the participants do not present severe levels in mental health variables, however, high percentages were identified in anxiety in moderate and severe. In all dimensions of Psychological Capital they exceed the average acceptable, with hope having the highest score and optimism the lowest, in general show Greater Psychological Capital (M≥96), and consequently greater job satisfaction (M≥60). Despite not having identified negative levels in mental health, if it is It is advisable to intervene to prevent possible severe symptoms, especially in anxiety and strengthen the perception of psychological capital and job satisfaction in teachers.
