Abstract: Cocoa comprises one of the most important products for the country's economy, since meets international demands, being recognized for its quality and distinctive aroma. He context that surrounds the research is based on the importance and study of cocoa as an agricultural product in the region, highlighting its economic and cultural relevance. The research is aimed at the study of cocoa on the farm, "El Pastizal", the Field research focuses on learning about agricultural practices, production agroecological in the place and also varieties of fruits grown in addition to cocoa. For Therefore, the study is based on a descriptive qualitative methodology, which is will be carried out through direct contact with cocoa producers and farmers, interviews, on-site visits to the plantations and direct observations on the farm. The The results of this research offer a solid basis for future analysis and recommendations in the field of cocoa and agroecological agriculture in the region. Additionally, they provide valuable information for those interested in sustainable agriculture and crop diversification as key strategies in the agricultural development of the area.
