Abstract

Abstract: This study focuses on analyzing the academic preferences of students of Law and its connection with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through the study of judicial rulings. This type of analysis allows students and future professionals identify the preference and/or affinity for the mesh subject curriculum that has been studied throughout the UTPL Law School, during training in each has fueled greater interest in both the study and practice of one of the seventeen Sustainable Development Goals, connecting us to know and act in a timely manner when one or more rights are at risk and that aims to protect each of these Objectives. Exploring sentences judicial proceedings linked to specific topics, such as access to quality justice, legal security, effective judicial protection, participation rights, communication and information, right to good public administration, allows students understand how the legal system contributes to achieving the SDGs, prepares future lawyers to contribute to their defense, promotes legal research and activities extracurricular activities focused on the SDGs, and as defenders of the Law become into agents of change to promote a more just and equitable society.
