Análisis de las clases sociales, desde la perspectiva literaria en El Éxodo de Yangana, de Ángel Felicísimo Rojas

Abstract

Abstract: This academic essay analyzes the social classes described in the novel The Exodus of Yangana by Angel Felicísimo Rojas. From a literary perspective it is investigated how the people of Yangana, fed up with enduring the abuses and living overwhelmed by the mistreatment caused by the gamonales rebelled and committed a murder. After that, the people of Yangana fled to the jungle of Palanda, thus provoking a definitive exodus, and then founded a new village, free from the abuse of the hegemonic power of the caciques of the time. Based on a qualitative, descriptive and analytical methodological approach and discursive analysis, a historical framework of the author, his professional life, his achievements and recognition is presented. The motivation for doing this work lies in the fact of analyzing a current social problem from a literary point of view and the way in which it is investigated in an era of great struggles and social changes that allow to have a new way of perception of the world for readers.
