Abstract

Abstract: This summary talks about a research work that is carried out in response to a case of the Inter-American Court of Human Rights. The objective of the work is evaluate compliance with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), focusing specifically in SDG number 16. During the investigation, they were found difficulties and limitations, but a methodology was used that included the review of existing literature and detailed analysis of a selected sentence. The results obtained, the resources used and the public policies related to the topic are discussed. The importance of this research is highlighted to better understand the SDG and its impact on the protection of human rights.
