Description: This research is concerned with “Factors that affect the English language teaching-learning process in Ecuadorian public high schools” and its purpose is to identify and analyze main factors that influence the English language teaching-learning process. The research was carried out in five public high schools in Santa Rosa, near the city of Machala, Ecuador. The participants were fifteen English teachers who were interviewed and observed during the teaching process. Also, fifteen students participated in this research.
