Abstract

Abstract: The present research has been carried out on the educational leadership of the teacher and its influence on the self-esteem of the students of the Educational Unit "Manuela Cañizares" in Pichincha province, the same one whose main objective is to determine the influence of the teaching leadership on the self-esteem of the students of the aforementioned school. The work begins with a sample of students from the first year of high school, in which the design used in this research was exploratory, using methods such as inductive, scientific and others. The proposal is based on data obtained from student surveys, which allowed us to reach the following conclusion that teachers do not maintain adequate leadership skills and among other factors, such as the affective part and the good teacher-student relationship, they do not realize that they are hurting their students' self-esteem. One of the very important factors that must be exercised by the teacher is to be a good leader a good guide; this is how the idea of a workshop to strengthen teacher leadership skills arises.
