Abstract

The development of the present research work; "Design of the tourist and gastronomic route of the canton Mejia”, this purpose is to create a new economic source of income for the inhabitants of the canton. It’s essential to create a new route to be recognized nationally and internationally, and in this way create an impact to the tourist who will visit the destination. But it is also about the tourist learning to appreciate what he has around him, many of them do not know what it is to live in a very quiet place; most tourists live in big cities and almost never have the opportunity to visit a place that has many landscapes and outdoor activities. Through the research it is intended that this proposal be put in place to intensify the visit of tourists throughout the year, and thus obtain improvements in the development of tourism.
