Abstract

Abstract:The main objective of the research is to assess the performance of the teacher in the area of the management of the process of teaching-learning in basic education, Of The Educational Institution "Juan León Mera" of the canton of Santo Domingo, province of Pichincha, period 2018-2019, On the basis of the diagnosis of the current conditions of the planning of this process, due to several factors that influence directly and indirectly in the educational work, In both pedagogical practice as the curriculum must abide by the regulations issued by the Ministry of Education, applied the methods such as; deductive, inductive, bibliographic and statistical analysis, and as the technique of the survey, which allowed to obtain effective and clear information, the sample is six teachers, who applied three instruments provided by the titling of the UTPL, It was concluded that teachers possess knowledge of the educational process from your planning with small discrepancy in the theoretical and practical, Without taking into account the characteristics and needs of students, it is recommended that the updating and training issued by the Ministry of Education.
