El Acogimiento Familiar, una mirada correcta a la aplicación de esta figura jurídica

Abstract

The foster care is a protection resource very little used at the level of the Ecuadorian juridical frame, the same that we can say that it is a temporary measure that by purpose has to offer the children and adolescents who are immersed in a hostile environment to provide a adequate family that meets the needs that the child or adolescent needs, which must be a healthy environment where they can generate bonds and can develop freely, an environment free of both psychological and physical abuse. The purpose of this thesis is to show the scope and benefits that the application of this resource would bring about the other resources to choose as a first option the foster care of the institutional, which as a primary goal has the deinstitutionalization of children and adolescents , since as we will see in the present investigation the index of institutionalized children is very high, and a measure is needed that directly protects the emotional environment and provide specialized care individually to each child, which in the institutional setting is very complicated.
