Systematization of pedagogical experiences in the EFL teaching training program

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this Systematization study is to look back at our teaching experiences, gain knowledge and provide guidance to future generations of EFL teachers who are about to start their levels of internships; and provide accurate information about these processes. These levels of internships took place in two private schools of General Basic Education and Bachillerato in the city of Cuenca. The sample was a total of ten teachers and three hundred and thirty students. A number of steps were taken to complete this study; first, research needed to be done to provide evidence of the knowledge acquired throughout the years at the University. Next, it was necessary to find the appropriate material to carry out the analysis. Finally, a number of classes were chosen for each level of internship; and the planning, linguistic, learning management, and methodology aspects of each of the observed, assisted, and taught classes were thoroughly analyzed. One of this study's conclusions simply describes the importance of using the appropriate didactic material in class.
