Principios del constructivismo en la propuesta pedagógica institucional de la Escuela de Educación Básica Ciudad de Zaruma

Abstract:.Schools are responsible for the cultural, scientific, humanistic and civic training of boys and girls, providing them with the most suitable means for them to acquire meaningful learning, therefore, their actions must be framed within certain pedagogical and didactic principles that allow contextualizing the curriculum and provide guidelines for the teaching-learning process. In order to explain the contribution of Constructivism to student learning as the foundation of the Pedagogical Proposal of the Ciudad de Zaruma Basic Education School, a documentary study was carried out, based on the content analysis technique and theoretical methods, regarding the presence, absence or contradictions of the principles of constructivism mentioned in the Pedagogical Proposal and the Institutional Curricular Program, and it can be shown that, although some are mentioned, they lack a theoretical description that allows us to understand how the institution understands and therefore how it is going to put them into practice,nor are guidelines for teaching, learning and evaluation limited in its pedagogical foundation.
