Impacto del uso de chatbots en el desarrollo cognitivo de los estudiantes de bachillerato

Abstract

Abstract: Chatbots are computer programs that simulate human interactions. In the last years they have seen an increased use, thanks to technological advances that have improved their accessibility. The present project addresses the subject of the impact of chatbot use on the cognitive development of high school students, with the objective of assessing this impact in the population of the project, which is the students in the educational level of Bachillerato in Ecuador. For this, the project takes the theoretical basis on cognitive development proposed by Piaget and Vygotski, in contrast with information collected from previous studies on chatbot use by students and in education. From this, a pedagogical proposal is designed for the use of chatbots, with the objective of improving the cognitive development of the students.
