Las TIC como estrategia pedagógica para desarrollar habilidades transversales en estudiantes de bachillerato

Abstract

Abstract: Currently, the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) is an integral part of the educational process; therefore, their application in the classroom needs to be pedagogically oriented toward learning. The aim of this research was to strengthen transversal skills in high school students at Unidad Educative Pío Bravo, located in the rural parish of San Cristóbal in the canton of Paute, through the pedagogical use of ICT. The study was conducted using a quantitative approach, under a non-experimental descriptive design with an applied development component. The population consisted of all first-, second-, and third-year high school students. For data collection, a Likert-scale survey was applied, which made it possible to identify the use of ICT and the level of development of transversal skills. Based on the results obtained, a pedagogical proposal mediated by ICT was designed and implemented, aimed at improving student participation and the educational use of technology.
