Zusammenfassung: Abstract: This research project involved a meticulous analysis of the reasoning contained in the judgment issued by the trial judge. The primary objective was to scrutinize this reasoning, evaluating its relevance and sufficiency against constitutional standards. It should be noted that this study is part of a comprehensive degree project for the Law program at the Universidad Técnica Particular de Loja (UTPL), aimed at critically examining and assessing the grounds for judgments handed down by trial judges within the Ecuadorian judicial system. The use of a specialized questionnaire to verify the sufficiency and relevance of the reasoning yielded conclusive results, as the analyzed judgment fully satisfies the guarantee of adequate reasoning, in strict compliance with Article 76 of the Constitution of the Republic of Ecuador (CRE) and the established case law of the Constitutional Court. In summary, the analysis of judicial reasoning strengthens the interpretive skills of law students and legal professionals while establishing effective academic oversight of judicial work. This fosters accountability within the justice system, thereby guaranteeing due process and the protection of fundamental rights.
