Propuesta de Modelo de Responsabilidad Social Universitaria para la Facultad de Ciencias Administrativas de la Universidad Central del Ecuador

Abstract

This investigation consists in the development of a social responsibility model for the Faculty of Administrative Sciences at Central University of Ecuador; this is because of the new paradigm of an educational model socially responsible that guides the institutional action to the satisfaction of the related groups, by defining Values, Principles and Strategies. It is intended to identify and understand the effects of the actions on the society, considering the social, environmental and economic impacts, and the views of internal and external stakeholders. To achieve this, primary and secondary information was collected; it is important to note that the primary data were collected directly from the faculty, several interviews were applied to different authorities, and surveys were applied to students, faculty and the administrative staff. This thesis covers three main chapters: in the first one, the conceptual framework was developed; the second chapter develops the diagnosis of RSU in the faculty; and in the third a proposed model is presented.
