El lenguaje de señas como elemento inclusivo para la enseñanza en el área de Lengua y Literatura

Abstract

Abstract: The present work entitled Sing Language as an inclusive element for teaching in the are of language and Literature in view 14.13% of Ecuadorians have hearing impairment, which generates limitations in the educational environment, making learning difficult. Therefore, the use of sign language is essential to create inclusive environments in the classroom and give students the same development opportunities as their hearing peers. Therefore, it is proposed as an objective to use sign language as an inclusive element to improve teaching in Language and Literature. For this purpose, a research based on non-participatory observation, qualitative approach, exploratory and descriptive method, bibliographic type is used. The results indicate that there is a worldwide interest in meeting the learning needs of people who experience some kind of disability, where the Ecuadorian State has made efforts from the institutional framework and the creation of public policies.
