Systematization of Pedagogical Experiences in the EFL Teaching Training Program

Abstract

Abstract: The objective of this systematization of pre-professional practices was to reflect on the previous experiences as pre-service teachers in the teaching of English as a foreign language. For this purpose, the research method used for this study was the Qualitative Method, which allowed to obtain and process information about the teaching practice. In this way, the information systematized was gathered during the pre-professional practices of the teaching training program while being an observer and main teacher. With this in mind, the setting in which the systematization was carried out in regard to the teaching practice, was the information of six classes from basic education and six from high school was described and analyzed taking into account four pedagogical aspects: planning, linguistics aspects, learning management, and methodology. The systematization of pre-professional practice during the internships leaves the conclusion that previous teaching experiences offer opportunities for students to become familiar with the professional world where students will later work as future English teachers and begin to develop their professional and personal skills.
