GeoGebra en el aprendizaje de los cuerpos geométricos

Abstract

Abstract: This study arises in response to the challenges inherent in understanding solids geometric shapes and visualization in three dimensions, a process that can be complex. It is proposed to strengthen the learning of geometric bodies through the use of GeoGebra in eighth year students of Basic General Education in the Unit San Gerardo Private Education, in the city of Loja. The research has a mixed approach that integrated qualitative and quantitative aspects in a non-experimental design. The purpose was to analyze the behavior of the students in their environment, interpret and collect information in order to evaluate the relationship between variables studied. We worked with a group of 35 students, to whom a diagnostic questionnaire and two questionnaires related to a workshop on bodies geometric, one conventional and the other using the GeoGebra software. In order to verify the proposed hypothesis, an analysis was carried out using the test chi square statistic. The results supported the alternative hypothesis, confirming that The use of GeoGebra strengthens the learning of geometric bodies.
