Diseñar redes ODN para GPON en el sector El Rosal al sur de la ciudad de Loja

Abstract:In this final degree project, the design of an optical distribution network (ODN) with GPON (Gigabit-captable Passive Optical Network) technology delimited in the south-eastern sector of the city of Loja, specifically in the neighborhoods of El Rosal and Geraniums, for the National Telecommunications Corporation CNT EP where through a survey of information on telecommunications services (telephony, Internet, television) a study of the current commercial base, potential and total demand was made. Subsequently, the design of the GPON network is detailed with the regulations in force in CNT E.P, starting with the dispersion network, followed by trunk or feeder network, channeling and distribution with the ability to cover the current commercial base, potential demand and total demand. Finally, the technical viability of the ODN is shown by means of an optical balance considering within the margins required in CNT E.P. and subsequently it is shown that the project is profitable by determining total network volumes and an economic analysis with the profitability indicators VAN and TIR.
