Systematization of pedagogical experiences in the EFL teaching training program

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this work is to share the acquired knowledge in the process as a pre-service English teacher during the different semesters of teaching internship and practicum through the systematization of pedagogical experiences which were collected by a continuousprocess through some activities such asdesigninglesson plans according to the level and age of students, class observation with students from basic education, and finally with teaching practice with senior high schoolstudents which as a consequence of the COVID 19pandemic. Thisteaching practicum was conducted virtually.As a result of this process, it is concluded that teacher practicum and internship plays a fundamental role in the future teacher because they provide pedagogical abilities and tools that are necessary to identify the weak and strong points in the profession. These skills will allow teachersto achieve the best results in the teaching-learning process in a real context with students who need a professional guide with trained teachers.
